Discussion Exercise (DISCEX): Major humanitarian disaster on Indonesian/Papua New Guinea area in 2015
Facilitator: Rita Parker
Aim: To conceptualise future conduct of humanitarian operations in the context of civil-military response.

The DISCEX scenario will be based on Operation Sumatra Assist but set in 2015 with the focus on the new Landing Helicopter Docks (LHDs) which are the replacement for the Heavy Landing Ships/Amphibious Landing Ship.

Civil-Military Network Update Roundtable

Cost: This event is free to attend

Aim: In an informal environment, share civil-military developments being undertaken by government, private and NGO organisations. Each person will have 5 minutes to talk about their work. While people are most welcome to bring promotional literature about their organisation/project, there will be no powerpoint presentations.

This is a great opportunity to hear what others are doing and share information on your work.

Who can attend: All members of the Civil-Military Network and delegates/speakers at the Enhancing Reconstruction and Stabilisation Conference.
